Webber is the sixth winner during this season after the triumph in Monaco.

The Red Bull driver – Mark Webber won the start in Monaco so he got in the history of the new 2012 season after he became the sixth winner of the six starts. The Austrian had the chance to start from the first position after the winner of yesterday’s qualification Michael Schumacher with Mercedes had to start from the sixth position due to a penalty. This way Mark kept the tradition in Monaco the first driver to be the first to end. Furthermore the Austrian made Red Bull the first to win two races during this season.

From the beginning Mark started great and was able to block the attack from the second diver Niko Rosberg with Mercedes. From then on Mark was first almost the whole time although Rosberg tried to take over the Austrian. The Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso, who had a wonderful performance for the Italians, took the third place.
Sebastian Fetel was able to participate in the battle for the podium after in the beginning he climbed to the sixth position. In the end he ended on the forth place before Lewis Hamilton who started from a third position but he had to settle for the firth place.

Rainy clouds hanged over the track in the last 15 laps and everyone feared that it might start raining. The drivers already had used the maximum of their tired and the rain drops on the track didn’t make their task easier. This made the first six drivers closer to each other as they finished together in an interval of just a few seconds. A good impression made Felipe Masa who was the person who formed the top 6. The Brazilian made his best performance for the season today. However Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button and Pastor Maldonado cannot say the same. Seven time winner who won the qualification yesterday but had to start from the sixth position was involved in an incident with Romen Grojan after the first lap he went on the eighth place. However the German was fast, his car had a great speed but 20 laps before the final a problem occurred with the fuel pressure and the technicians from Mercedes preferred to stop him before something worse happens.
Button got stuck in the second half of the rankings as in the end he tried to take over Kovalinen close to the pool and he was eliminated from the race. Maldonado ran into the back of Pedro de la Rossa at the beginning after he had to start from the last position. He was eliminated in the first lap.
