Jorge Lorenzo won the British Grand Prix after a spectacular battle on the last lap with debutant Marc Marquez. Mark dislocated his shoulder in morning warm-up and had to compete with an injury. He and Lorenzo started their dispute from the very start of the race. Marquez's teammate Dani Pedrosa at Honda also joined the fight in the 7th round. Marquez almost beat Lorenzo two rounds before the end, and later repeated their attack of "Brook lands" on the last lap. Lorenzo, however slip again inside the "Lafiyld" and managed to hold victory 0.081 sec. ! Pedrosa was third, followed by Rossi, Bautista , Brandon , Crutchlow , Hayden Smith and Espargaró . 

At the beginning of the race Lorenzo managed to get the column in the first turn, and Marquez was second. Valentino Rossi made ​​a great start and went into third place after the first corner. Pedrosa was unable to move well even on its own standards and early sixth moved. Stephen Brandon quickly managed to gain momentum and overtake Rossi for third place in the corner “Stowe”. Only one lap Marquez had opened difference of 1.4 sec. to Brandon. Lorenzo asked tempo as early as the second lap was able to improve his record. In the third round Marquez managed to record the fastest lap in the race, which was 2 tenths better than that of Lorenzo. Mark was impressive in terms of injury, who received his shoulder in morning warm-up. Valentino Rossi does still experiencing problems with his M1 and lost another position Bautista. The fourth lap Pedrosa recorded the fastest round and was already 1.8 seconds behind Marquez. He, in turn, continued to try to attack and Lorenzo had the most chances of turning " Brooklands " . Dani Pedrosa, at this time, close the gap to just a second. In the last three rounds Pedrosa recorded successive fastest laps. His pace was 6-7 tenths better than the leaders. Slightly behind Rossi and Brandon created a real show as the Doctor overtook his rival “Vail” , but then again swapped positions " Club " and " Abby " . German showed great aggression and did not want to give up. In the tenth lap Pedrosa off the pace and decided to stand firmly behind his teammate. A little later Rossi managed to beat Brandon and climbed to fifth place. In contrast to the Bautista was second and a half. In the 11th round Marquez seemed to overtake Lorenzo in " Brooklands " , but the leader in the race did not succumb . Marquez looked very strong in that turn. A little later in the turn "Stowe" Marquez almost took Lorenzo , but the situation off without consequences. All three players were in the lead with the same choice of tires - medium-hard front and rear tire. In the next few laps Lorenzo tried to lift the tempo and Marquez on several occasions he showed the bend " Brooklands " . If  Mark manages to overtake, it will be right there. That's what happened two laps remaining when Marquez was able to lead. Meanwhile, Rossi overtake Bautista for fourth place. Lorenzo , however, replied in the " Vail " where Mark was injured in morning warm-up . Jorge started the final round with the advantage of only 4 tenths . Meanwhile, Dovizioso dropped from eighth place in the 19th lap. Reverse rights Lorenzo had enough lead to hold a leadership position. Drama would turn again in " Brooklands " . Jorge tried to block the path , but Marquez was able to pass. But then he opened the curve " Lafiyld " and Lorenzo managed to overtake him , finally won with an advantage of just 8 hundredths ! Far back does the Doctor ultimately failed and ended in front of Bautista priority of 6 hundredths! This race will remain as one of the best in the season.
