Yamaha pilot Jorge Lorenzo won the race for the Grand Prix of Qatar

Yamaha pilot Jorge Lorenzo won the race for the Grand Prix of Qatar - the first round of the new season in the premier class in motorcycle (MotoGP).

The Spaniard started on pole position and never for a moment allowed it to be threatened. His new old teammate Valentino Rossi added double victory for Yamaha factory team in second place.

Marc Marquez finished third with Honda and fourth - Dani Pedrosa - also with Honda.

Early in the race, Rossi made a mistake that took him down to seventh position, but then he catch up. "Doc" made phenomenal last tour, which deal successively with Cal Crutchlow, Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez.

Five laps remaining, Marquez beat Pedrosa and came second, while Rossi after them to get them away just half lap. Marquez continued to fight to the end for the second, but the doctor did not leave.

The next launch is the new track in Austin, USA and will be held on April 21.
