Martin Choi look in "24 Hours of Le Mans" live on Eurosport 2


Bulgarian competitor in motocross Martin Choi will start their participation in the World Championship with Endurans 38th edition of "24 Hours of Le Mans." This is the first appearance of a Bulgarian in the prestigious race and a new peak in the career of Choi. The pilot will be part of Team BMW Motorrad. Except in the "24 Hours of Le Mans," he will compete in the remaining three rounds of the competition - Portimao, Oschersleben and the legendary "8 hours of Suzuka." The start of the championship will be broadcast live on Eurosport 2 on 9th April, Saturday, from 15.45 hours

Choi will fly BMW S1000 RR1000. The bike is equipped with special rear and front brakes, suitable for marathon races, as well as new wheels and an extra tank. In addition to all competitions in the world championship with this model Bulgarians will participate in the European, Bulgarian and East European championships. "The bike is different from the type that I drive. It is adapted with different calipers with larger tank and two pipes for fast charging. With the tires got used quickly. Teammates pilot in the race will be Slovenian Janez Proshenik and last year's European champion in superbike - Austrian Ronald Resch. Choi fly in the qualifiers of "24 Hours of Le Mans" two years ago, but this will be his competitive debut in the championship rounds.
